  For the small-town size, it has what I need, with a higher food quality and lower price point than Wal-Mart (the only other choice in Elgin). When the check-out lines get to long, they will even open additional registers and have someone directing people to the shortest line. Take note Walk-Mart!

  My favorite place to shop, I refuse to buy groceries at Wal-mart. The building is always in top shape, super clean and well stocked. Not as big as most HEBs, but they do a good job of offering a good variety of products from Organic to generic. Produce department has very limited variety of organic options and variety. Very kid friendly, the staff has been know to offer free tortillas and cookies to my kids when they were having a hard time. I love that there is always a coupon for almost everything. Great deals that actually let you save money. The staff is amazing, wonderful work ethic, attitude, always ready to find a solution. The pharmacy does take forever, so just go inside its usually faster. I have never had any problems with the pharmacy being rude or messing up my prescription. Nail salon in front of the store. The business center can do money order, pay Time Warner, and many other things. There is a family bathroom. If you don't see a product you want they are happy to order it for you and call you when it comes in.

  Fair prices. Selection is inferior in comparison to other HEB locations in nearby towns.
