  The food and staff have been consistently good for our standards. We used to dine at Morelia's quite frequently when they were at their previous location but this new building they're in is a horrible echo chamber. The noise level on Friday and Saturday evenings are too much. Instead of dining here 2-3 times per month we go about once every 2-3 months. Even when only half the tables have people it's still noisy. We found another Mexican restaurant (in Taylor) that's the same distance from our house we choose to go to now instead that is much more quiet. As for Mexican food in Elgin this is one of the best but the noise level has driven us away.

  Worst tex mex place EVER. Pay for steak & pasta. No sides and its so plain. Not tasty and more than half the steak is all fat. Too much money and not good food. Building is noce and roomy. Wasted on terrible food. Had steak ranchero alao and my mexican hisband wouldn't eat the ranchero beans. He said they tasted old and were bad. Just plain bad.
